A boutique Japan DMCDestination Management Company designing tailor-made journeys and operating its own private villas across Japan.

We combine destination design with authentic, locally rooted stays.

  • Our Philosophy

Our journey began with a simple wish - to share the quiet beauty, sincerity, and depth of Japan with travelers from around the world. Rooted in a company that has long developed resort villas and glamping properties across Japan, we now focus on creating travel experiences that go beyond accommodation.

Through our collection of private auberge villas in Amanohashidate, Awaji Island, and Lake Kawaguchiko, we invite guests to stay, slow down, and connect with the essence of each region - its culture, people, and natural rhythm. Each retreat is not only a place to rest, but a gateway to discover Japan’s spirit of hospitality and craftsmanship.

We value calm over speed, meaning over quantity, and genuine encounters over spectacle. Through thoughtful design, personal care, and respect for local culture, we hope every guest feels the warmth and authenticity that define Japan at its best.

  • Our Mission & Vision

In recent years, we recognized that to truly share the essence of Japan, it is essential to go beyond where travelers stay — to show what they can do and what they can feel in each destination. This conviction led to the creation of our DMC (Destination Management Company) division.

As a Japan-based land operator, we coordinate not only our own private villas but also partner hotels and regional experiences, integrating accommodation, transportation, and cultural activities into one seamless journey.

Our guests are discerning travelers — those who seek quality and depth, valuing genuine comfort and meaningful encounters over excess luxury. Our mission is to connect them with the heart of Japan: its nature, traditions, and quiet human warmth — to craft journeys that are refined, personal, and deeply memorable.

  • Our Values

Every journey we design is guided by a few simple values — principles that shape how we think, plan, and care for our guests.

    Authenticity - True to Japan

We seek the genuine spirit of each place — its people, traditions, and nature — and share it with sincerity and respect.

    Care - Crafted with Thoughtfulness

Every detail matters. From travel flow to local encounters, we approach each element with attention and heart.

Connection - Between People and Places

Travel is a bridge. We design experiences that connect travelers with Japan’s stories, landscapes, and communities in meaningful ways.

    Balance - Comfort and Discovery

A fulfilling journey blends rest and adventure, simplicity and richness. We help travelers find their own rhythm along the way.

Our promise is simple - to treat every journey with sincerity and care. From the first inquiry to the final farewell, we listen closely, plan thoughtfully, and deliver each moment with quiet attention. I first came to Japan in 2012 and lived with a local family in the countryside of Gifu, where I spent seven years as part of a close-knit community, gaining a deep understanding of Japanese culture.

I then had the opportunity to interact with many people in the vibrant city of Tokyo, and from that experience I now enjoy designing itineraries and guiding tours around Tokyo, Hakone, and Lake Kawaguchi.

I promise to do my best for my clients.

I'm Shintaro, or you can call me Shin. I'm based in Tokyo and have been working as a tourist guide on and off since 2019.

Before becoming a guide, I had a rather unusual career path. My first job was as a rehabilitation coordinator, traveling all over Japan interviewing prisoners and helping them prepare for their reintegration into society. I found this work extremely rewarding, not only for its purpose but also for the opportunity it gave me to see Japan from different perspectives.

I've always had a passion for travel, but my curiosity was mostly focused on destinations outside of Japan. However, this experience had a profound impact on me, greatly deepening my understanding of Japan's rich history, deep culture, and quiet beauty.

Now, I look forward to sharing that excitement with you all. I look forward to being part of your journey around Japan and discovering it together.
